Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
 solve (4x+3)^2/3=(16x+44)^1/3
...
take the cube on both sides
(4x+3)^2=(16x+44)
16x^2+24x+9=16x+44
16x^2+24x-16x+9-44=0
16x^2+8x-35=0
Find the roots of the equation by quadratic formula
a= 16  , b =8   , c = -35
b^2-4ac= 2304     .
x1= 1.25
x2=-1.75
