Question 350728: What is the inverse of the function f(x)=27 x^3.
Answer by nyc_function(2741)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=27 x^3

Let f(x) = y

y = 27x^3

Switch x and y.

x = 27y^3

Take cube root of both sides.

cuberoot[x] = cuberoot[27y^3]

cuberoot[x] = 3y

Divide both sides by 3.

(cuberoot[x])/3 = y

Done!
