Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x-2)/3+1=2x
Subtract 1
(x-2)/3 = 2x - 1
Multiply by 3
x-2 = 3(2x - 1)
x-2 = 6x - 3
Add 3
x + 1 = 6x
Subtract x
5x = 1
Divide by 5
x = 1/5
