5x+2y=-7..............1
7x-3y=13..............2
..
multiply equation 1 by 3 & equation 2 by 2 and add the equations
3(5x+2y)+2((7x-3y)=-21+26
15x+6y+14x-6y=5
29x=5
divide by 29
29x/29=5/29
x= 5/29
..
plug the value of x in equation 1
5*5/29+2y=-7
25/29+2y=-7
2y=-7-25/29
2y=-203-25/29
2y=-228/87
y= -114/87
