I would divide through this equation by my leading coefficient which is 4 so we are left with x^2+3x+2. Now we need to see what numbers times each other =2 and added together equal 3. 2x1=2 and 2+1=3 so it looks like we found this one pretty easily. Our answer would be (x+2)(X+1)
