Question 302227: Divide ((4x^2-9)/(-4x-6))/((6x-9)/(4x+4))
Answer by london maths tutor(243) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
((4x^2-9)/(-4x-6))/((6x-9)/(4x+4))
factorise: 4x^2-9 = (2x-3)(2x+3)
factorise: -4x-6 = -2(2x+3)
factorise: 6x-9 = 3(2x-3)
factorise: 4x+4 = 4(x+1)
((2x-3)(2x+3)/(-2(2x+3)))*((4(x+1)/3(2x-3))
cancel out "2x-3" and "2"
