Multiplying by x(x^2-8)
xX(x) = 2(x^2-8)
x^2= 2x^2-16
16 = 2x^2-x^2
16 =x^2
That is x^2 = 16
Taking square root
Therefore x = +4 or -4
Answer: x = 4 and x=-4
