Question 26939: please help me solve this equation by factoring: 3c(squared)=5c
& 18u(squared)-3u=1

Answer by mukhopadhyay(490)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3c^2 = 5c
=> 3c^2-5c = 0
=> c(3c-5) = 0
=> c=0 or c=5/3;
...............
18u^2-3u=1
=> 18u^2-3u-1 = 0
=> 18u^2-6u+3u-1 = 0
=> (3u-1)(6u+1) = 0
=> u=1/3 or u=-1/6
