a. (f g)(x)
answer: 5(5x^2-4) - 1 = 25x^4 - 20 - 1 = 25x^2 - 21
b. (g f)(x)
answer: 5*(5x-1)^2 - 4 = 125x^2 - 50x + 1
c. (f g)(1)
answer: 25*(1)^2 - 21 = 4.
