Just plot the point. The answers says to plot the point.

To graph something on an interval [a, b] means to start with the x = a and then go until x = b. An interval is like a window on a graphing calculator. In your problem, we are given [4,10]. Graph the problem from x = 4 to x = 10 and see what happens to the y values.
For example
"graph y = 2x + 1 on the interval [4, 10]" means create a table or graph directly from x = 4 to x = 10.
As a table, we get:
x . . . 4 . . . .5 . . . .6 . . . .7 . . . .8 . . . 9 . . . 10
y = . .9 . . . .11 . . . 13 . . . 15 . . . 17 . . 19 . . . 21
