First of all, when multiplying fractions, always look to simplify them first. Simplification always takes place between terms in the numerator and terms in the denominator, as a fraction is essentially signifying division. Note that there is a 3 in the denominator of the first fraction, and 12t in the numerator of the second fraction. You can tell that 3 and 12t have a GCF of 3, leaving you with
Next, we can arrange 10 - 5t to -5t + 10. We can factor out -5 to be left with -5(t-2). However, since there is another term t-2 in the denominator of the second fraction, we cancel these two terms out to be left with
The only thing that is left now is multiplication between -5 and 12t, which is -60t
