Let Fx=0:

Let Fy=0:

Knowing the Slope =

We Rise 3 steps from the Y-intercept (0,2) = (0,2+3) and Run 1 step to the right (0+1,2) ------> (1,5) (next point).

Going to the next point, we Rise again 3 steps from the previous point (1,5)= (1,5+3) and Run 1 step to the right (1+1,5) ----> (2,8) (next point).

Going back to the Y-intercept, (0,2), we moved 3 steps down on the Y-axis "-3" = (0,2-3) and moved 1 step to the left on the x-axis "-1" = (0-1,2) -------> (-1,-1) (next point)

Then from point (-1,-1), moved again 3 steps down on the Y-axis "-3" = (-1,-1-3), and moved 1 step to the left again on the x-axis "-1"= (-1-1,-1) -----> (-2,-4) (next point)...

You cannot solve that equation. There are an infinite number of real number ordered pairs that satisfy the equation. You can draw a graph of the solution set, namely a line with slope 3 passing through (0, 2). Is that what you wanted?
