Question 210110: I am trying to work a problem and not sure if I am on the right track.
The problem is: f(x)= 3x/x+2 and g(x)= 2x+1/2
I am trying to figure the following f o g(2) and g o f(2)
I have tried multiple times and am still confused as to how I am to set this up. So far, I have f(g(2))= 2(2)+1/2 = 5/2 but I am not sure if this is correct. I have reviewed and read but still am confused.

with f(g(2)), first find g(2). Whatever that number is, simply plug it into x of f(x) to find f(g(2))
In other words,
Now plug in into to get:
From there, simply the right side any way you can to get the final answer of f(g(2)). Do the same (but in reverse order) for g o f(2)
