1. y=[1/x+4]-3
I got:
Holes: none
Vertical Asymptotes: x=-4
Horizontal Asymptotes: y=-3
For the horizontal asymptotes would it be -3 or 3? Or is it something completely different?
2. y=[3/x-1] -2
I got:
Holes: none
Vertical Asymptotes: x=1
Horizontal Asymptotes: y=-2
Would the horizontal asymptote be -2 or 2? Or something else?
Are these right?
I'm not sure if I am doing these type correctly

If the equation is , then you are correct, the vertical asymptote is and the horizontal asymptote is (you're first choice)

Likewise, if the equation is , the vertical asymptote is and the horizontal asymptote is (again, you're first choice)

So you are correct on both of them.
