Determine whether the graph of y= 3x/(x^2-4) is symmetric with respect to the x-axis, the y-axis, and/or the origin. Please show how you get the answer.

Let's graph the function first.

It's not symmetric to either the x-axis, the y-axis, or the origin.
If you took the positive portion of the graph, flipped it over the x-axis and then flipped it over the y-axis, you would end up the negative portion of the graph.

y=3x/(x^2-4)
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -15 to 10, 3x / (x^2 -4)).
Graph is symmetrical to the x & Y axis as well as the origin.
