Question 144033: Hi any help with simplifying this rational expression would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
-x^2 + 10x - 21 / -3x^2 + 23x - 14

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-x^2 + 10x - 21 / -3x^2 + 23x - 14
= [x^2-10x+21] / [3x^2-23x+14]
= [(x-3)(x-7)] / [3x^2-21x-2x+14]
= [(x-3)(x-7)] / [(3x-2)(x-7)]
= (x-3)/(3x-2)
