2x+2y=6 now add these 2 equations.

5x=11
x=11/5 answer.
3*11/5-2y=5
33/5-2y=5
-2y=5-33/5
-2y=(25-33)/5
-2y=-8/5
y=(-8/5)/-2
y=(-8/5)(-1/2)
y=8/10
y=4/5 answer.
