Question 13925: Can you tell me which answer is correct for this problem - find the following for the function F(x)=-x^2+3x-1 ; -f(-x)
A.x^2+3x+1(do you have to do the whole equation with a "-x" plugged in for "x" and then multiply your whole answer by -1(derived from the -F))
B.-x^2+3x-1(can't you just cancle the negatives in the "-f(-x)" to be "f(x)"
Thank you for all of your time and help.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f%28x%29+=+-x%5E2%2B3x-1 Substitute (-x) for x eveywhere and negate the whole right side.
