Question 133538This question is from textbook College algebra
: Let f(x)=x+1 and g(x)=6 /x+1
Find (f*g)(1)
Here is what I have, but it seems to be incorrect. Can you please let me know where I've gone wrong?
f=1+1 and g=6/1+1
f=2 and g=6/2
f=2 and g=3
(2*3)=6
This is how I completed this one, but when I took my test, six was not the correct answer. Unfortunately, the correct answer is not given. I am curious to see what I did wrong.
