Question 1142333: Find solutions to the equation 2x+3y=6 for the values x =0, y=0 and x =-3
Provide your answer below
(0,), (, 0), (-3,)

Answer by Theo(13342)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you have 2x + 3y = 6

when x = 0, the equation becomes 3y = 6 which gets you y = 2.

when y = 0, the equation becomes 2x = 6 which gets you x = 3.

when x = -3, the equation becomes -6 + 3y = 6 which becomes 3y = 12 which gets you y = 4.

your solutions are (0,2), (3,0), (-3,4)

if you have any problems as to how this came to be, write to me and i'll explain further.
