Question 1120251: Okay so I have this equation:
h(x) = x^2 - 1
.........---------------
.........x^3-2x^2-x+2
And I have created what this equation would look like as a graph online, so I know what I am working towards. But what I do not understand is how to get enough information from that equation to create the graph! How would I go about finding the x/y intercepts, the asymptotes, or the intervals. My goal is to be able to graph this equation without referring to my graph made with graphing technologies. If anyone could guide me on what to do I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you so much in advance.

Factorize the numerator and the denominator.
Factor shared by both numerator AND denominator? Hole in the function.
Factor in denominator but not in numerator? Vertical asymptote of the function.
Factor in numerator but not in denominator? A zero of the function, where cross the x-axis.
