Question 1079631: y=2x+3/ x minus five
I need to graph and figure everything out.
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Parentheses matter (2x+3)/(x-5) is what I will do, but there are other ways that might have been meant.
Graph will have a domain of everything but x=5. The range is all real numbers except for 2. It approaches 2 asymptotically. If the expression is set equal to 2, solving gives 2x-10=2x-3, which has no solution.
