Multiply everything by a^2-16
a+2(a+4)=2(a-4)
a+2a+8=2a-8
3a+8=2a-8
a=-16 ANSWER
-16/240+2/-20=2/-12
-1/15-1/10=-5/30=-1/6=2/-12

Multiply each term by (a^2-16); (a^2-16)=(a+4)(a-4)
We get
a+2(a+4)=2(a-4) expand
a+2a+8=2a-8 collect like terms
a+2a-2a=-8-8
a=-16
