Look at the x column and find -1 in that column. The value right next to -1 is -2. The -2 is in the y column

That row means x = -1 and y = -2 pair up together to form the point (-1,-2)

Similarly, another point drawn from the table is (3,6) which is the last row of the table.

Use the slope formula to find the slope of the line through the points (-1,-2) and (3,6)

In this case,
(x1,y1) = (-1,-2)
x1 = -1
y1 = -2
