x cannot equal 2
if x is very small, y approaches 0 from the negative side.
If x is very large, y approaches 0 from the positive side.
If we approach x=2 from the positive side, the function goes to positive infinity.
If we approach x=2 from the negative side, the function goes to negative infinity.
The range is all real numbers except 0, {-oo,0)U(0,+oo)}
