Question 1045564: three consecutive vertices of a parallelogram are (1 -3), (-3 -1) (3 5). find the fourth vertex
Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
m =
(-3,-1)
( 1, -3) m = 2/-4 = -1/2 = -3/6 or P(-3,8) which is back 6 & up 3 from P(3.5)
(1,-3),
(3,5), m = -8/-2 = 4 = 8/2 or P(-1,7) which is up 2 & up 8 from P( -3,-1)
P(-1,7) the fourth vertex
P(-1,7) could also be found using graph paper and simply sketching the appropriate parallel green lines in... they would intersect at the 4th vertex
