SOLUTION: solve for x
x^4+2x/x^2-1=0 in a solution they got
=>(x^4+2x)(x^2-1)/(x^2-1)^2 =0
and then =>x=-2^(1/3),-1,0,1
how did they get this? Thanks in advance!

I think this is your equation although you didn't use any parentheses.
So you need to solve when the numerator is equal to zero,
Two solutions:
and
Not sure about the other two solutions.
I also looked at
But that didn't yield your solutions either.
If you need repost and add parentheses to your equation.
