Question 101064: I need to graph this equation.
y = 3/4 x +2

Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
YOU HAVE A SLOPE OF 3/4 & A Y INTERCEPT OF (0,2).
NOW SET Y=0 & SOLVE FOR X.
0=3X/4+2
3X/4=2 NOW CROSS MULTIPLY
3X=8
X=8/3 OR (8/3,0) IS THE SECOND POINT.
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = 3x/4 +2).
