I think it is as follows???.....
5 people took 45 mins therefore each person did the equivalent of 9 mins worth of work....with 2 less people (18 mins worth) you need to add the 18 mins to the 45 mins that the 5 people managed to do the job in ...the answer being 63mins?

I am able to figure out the work rate when the problem includes only hours such as if it only said 7 hours the work rate would me 1/7 but i do not know how to figure out when there are hours and minutes.
