Hi there,
Bonnie works at x hrs
Andy works at 2x hours
Together they can do the job
in 4 hours
1/x + 1/2x = 1/4
Common denominator = 4x
4 + 2 = x
x = 6 hours
Bonnie can do the job in 6 hours
Andy can do the job in 12 hours
Hope this helps :-)
