A neighbor can plan his garden in five hours
In 1 hour he can plant 1/5th of the garden.
His daughter can plant the garden in 8 hours.
In 1 hour he can plant 1/8th of the garden.
In 1 hour they can together do (1/5+1/8)=13/40 of the work.
Together they can do the work in 40/13 hours=3.076 hours
