Christine: 6 trees/9 days=6/9 trees/day
Together=8/6 trees/day+6/9 trees /day Find common denominator.
Together=24/18 trees/day+12/18 trees/day=36/18 trees/day=2 trees/day
If they plant 2 trees/day for 15 days:
(2 trees/day)(15 days)=30 trees
ANSWER: Together they can plant 30 trees in 15 days.
