Equation::
rate + rate = 1/8 job/day
2r = 1/8
r = 1/16 job/day (rate for each person)

Equation:
3r = 3/16 job/day ((rate when all three are working together)

Ans:: (16/3) days/job = 5 1/3 days for the three of them to do the job together.
