You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Carpenter's rate of work = 1/2 units per hour
Assistant's rate of work = 1/3 units per hour
Their combined rate of work = %281%2F2%29+%2B+%281%2F3%29 units per hour
=5%2F6 units per hour
So, time required to do the job together
= 1%2F%285%2F6%29 hours
= 6%2F5 hours
