Per hr the KEY

|Multiplying thru by 12x so as all denominators = 1
2x + 12 = 18
2x = 6
x = 3, time it takes Eric alone
and..checking
1/6 + 1/3 = 1/6 + 2/6 = 1/2

6/(E + 6) = (2/3)
2(E + 6) = 18
E = 3 hours
