Let x=amount of time to fill an order working together
Working together, they fill at the rate of 1/x of the order per hour
Janet fills at the rate of 1/6 of the order per hour
Bill fills at the rate of 1/11 of the order per hour
Together they fill at the rate of 1/6 + 1/11 of the order per hour
Soooo, our equation to solve is:
1/6 + 1/11=1/x multiply each term by 66x
11x+6x=66
17x=66
x=66/17=3.88 hrs---time it takes both working together to fill an order

In 66/17 hrs, Janet fills (1/6)(66/17)=11/17 of an order
In 66/17 hrs, Bill fills (1/11)(66/17)=6/17 of the order
11/17 + 6/17=1 (1 order, that is)
