Let x be the number of hours taken.
15:10=4:x
x=2.66
However, the solution is incorrect.

Obviously it will take 4 children more time than 15 children, right?

1/2 the job takes 15*10 = 150 C*hours
----
150 C*hrs/4 C = 37.5 hours.
