1/x + 1/(2x) = 1/6

2/(2x) + 1/(2x) = 1/6

(2+1)/(2x) = 1/6

3/(2x) = 1/6

3*6 = 2x*1

18 = 2x

2x = 18

x = 18/2

x = 9

It takes the experienced accountant 9 hours to do the job alone.
