Hi,

Let x represent time when both are open

 1/10 - 1/22 = 1/x     |Multiplying thru by 220x so as all denominators = 1

  22x - 10x = 220

      12x = 220

        x = 220/12 = 18 ¹⁄₃ hr, time to fill when both are open
