Question 831486: A water tub having two tap attached for cold and hot water and drain with drain piug to drain the water any one of the tap is set open and the drain plug is applied the tub gets filled in 4 Hours.In case of a filled tub if Drain plug is plugged out,the tub gets emptied in 3Hours.Now both the taps are set open with the drain plug out ,how much time it will take for tub to fill up

1/2-1/3=1/x
3/6-2/6=1/x
1/6=1/x
x=6 hours to fill the tub with hot and cold open and drain open
