A total of 3 Holstein cows and 3 Guernsey cows give as much milk in 3 days as 2 Holstein cows and 4 Guernsey cows in 4 days.
which breed of cow is the better milk producer and how many times faster does the better milk producer produce milk/
:
let h = amt of milk given by 1 Holstein cow
let g = amt given by 1 Guernsey cow
:
3(3h + 3g) = 4(2h + 4g)
9h + 9g = 8h + 16g
9h - 8h = 16g - 9g
h = 7g
1 Holstein cow gives 7 times as much milk as on Guernsey cow
