Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/3 + 1/x = 1/2 Rates
1/x = 1/2 - 1/3
Common denominator = 6x
6 = 3x - 2x
6 = x
So, the son would take 6hrs
to do yard work.
