What is the rate for ONE man to do the job? How many days for 1 man?
One man needs 4 times longer than 4 men.
days for 1 man to do the job, so rate is jobs per day.
Seven men? The rate of each man in the group may be assumed additive for the rate of the group of 7 men.
Seven men rate of work is jobs per day, or as the reciprocal, 8 days to do the job.

we are given that a certain job is done in 14 days by 4 men, then 1 man takes 4*14 or 56 days.....so
1 man takes 56 days
2 men take 28 days
7 men take 56/7 or 8 days
