Patrick can paint 100% of a wall in 40 minutes.
So he can paint (100/40)% of the wall in 1/40th of the time. i.e. 1 minute.
So he can paint 30 x as much as he can paint in 1 minute if he paints for 30 minutes (half an hour) = 30 x (100 / 40) %
= 75%.
