band practice, Melissa saw that she had forgotten her sheet
music, and ran after her. If Melissa runs three times as fast
as her older sister, how long will it take to reach her?
There is a similar question already posted, but I do not understand the solution. The posted questions is:
Ten minutes after Sasha’s little brother left home for karate
class, Sasha saw that he had forgotten his karate uniform,
and she ran after him. If Sasha runs twice as fast as her little
brother, how long will it take her to reach him?
Can you help me to understand the posted solution? I need to be able to completly understand this problem so I can explain it to others.
