Question 724196: Maria and Ming start at the same point and drive in opposite directions. Maria drives 60 mph and Ming drives 60 mph. How far apart will they be in 3 hours?
Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
They are moving away from each other at the sum of their speeds. 60 + 60 = 120 MPH.

D=r*t = 120 * 3 = 360 miles.
