Answer by checkley79(3341)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/9+1/5=1/X FIND A COMMON DENOMINATOR (9*5)=45
[(1*5)+(1*9)]/45=1/X
[5+9]/45=1/X
14/45=1/X CROSS MULTIPLY.
14X=45
X=45/14
X=3.2 HOURS WORKING TOGETHER.
