5 people took 45 mins therefore each person did the equivalent of 9 mins worth of work....with 2 less people (18 mins worth) you need to add the 18 mins to the 45 mins that the 5 people managed to do the job in ...the answer being 63mins?

Therefore it would take 3 times as many people, or 15 people,
only 1/3 as long as 45 minutes, or only 15 minutes.

Therefore it would take 1/5 of that many (15) people, or 3 people,
5 times as long as 15 minutes or 75 minutes.
