Question 446358: One person can do a certain job in six days, a second person can do the same job in two days, and a third person can do this job in three days. How many days will they take to do the job together?
Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
person I 6 days
He does 1/ 6 of the job in 1 day
Person II 3 days
He does 1/ 3 of thejob in 1 day
Person III 2 days
He does 1/2 of the job in 1 day
Together they will do 1/6+ 1/12+ 1/2
Together they will do 3/ 4of the job in one day
So they will take 1 1/3 day
