Solution:Alyse in 1 minute wash 1/20 of the car, while Jeremy wash 1/30 of the car
Together for 1 minute they wash: 1/20+1/30=5/60=1/12 of the car.
Since they for a minute wash together 1/12 of the car, all the car they wash for 12 minutes.
